Penny L. Lampros, D.D.S., M.S.Dr Lampros

Orthodontic Specialist

Dr. Penny Lampros, or “Dr. Penny” as many patients call her, is a second-generation, board-certified orthodontist who has been delivering the highest standard of orthodontic care since 1995. She proudly followed in her father’s footsteps into the orthodontic field and took the reins when he retired after 40 years of creating beautiful smiles. Dr. Lampros continuously strives to stay on the cutting-edge of the latest advancements in the field.

Dr. Lampros attended Wake Forest University for her Bachelor of Arts degree before earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University. She then went on to Indiana University, where she graduated with her Master of Science in Dentistry degree and completed her orthodontic specialty training.

Dr. Lampros has achieved Diplomate status with the American Board of Orthodontics, a distinction held by less than 50% of orthodontists in the country! She is also an active member of several prestigious professional organizations, including:

  • American Association of Orthodontists
  • Southern Association of Orthodontists
  • Virginia Association of Orthodontics (past president and first woman president)
  • American Dental Association
  • Piedmont Dental Society
  • Roanoke Valley Orthodontics Study Club
  • Roanoke Valley Dental Society (past president)

Dr. Lampros grew up in Roanoke and appreciates what it means to be part of the community. She lectures to various local groups, such as the Girls Scouts, the community college dental hygiene program, and other educational and community groups. She also volunteers with the Mission of Mercy (MOM) Project.

In her personal life, she has been married for 20 years and has one daughter. During her leisure time, Dr. Lampros enjoys running half marathons, playing tennis, spending time at the beach with her family, and cheering on her daughter and other patients at their various sporting events. She also enjoys cooking and even met Emeril in New Orleans!

Dr ReopelleAnn D. Reopelle, D.M.D., M.S.

Orthodontic Specialist

Dr. Ann Reopelle is committed to providing personalized care to every patient. She enjoys working collaboratively with patients and their families to develop a plan that best addresses the patient’s concerns and most efficiently and effectively results in a beautiful and healthy smile. Dr. Reopelle finds it most rewarding to establish a relationship with her patients and their families throughout treatment and to be able to watch patients grow into confident and engaging young adults.

Dr. Reopelle attended Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, graduating magna cum laude. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical College of Georgia, and was inducted into the national dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Dr. Reopelle then completed her orthodontic specialty training and Master of Science at Ohio State University.

As a board-certified orthodontist, Dr. Reopelle has taken additional steps in her training to ensure that she provides the highest level of care possible. She is also an active member in the following professional organizations:

  • Southern Association of Orthodontists
  • Virginia Association of Orthodontists
  • Roanoke Valley Orthodontics Study Club
  • Roanoke Valley Dental Society

Having practiced for several years in Atlanta, Dr. Reopelle and her husband, Ryan, are excited to make Roanoke home. Outside of the office, Dr. Reopelle enjoys running, hiking (trail recommendations welcomed!), baking, and chasing after their two goldendoodles, Lucy and Ralphie.
